Design The BenQ’s V2400W LCD Monitor in Photoshop

4-4-08Category Filed under Designing & Photoshop Tutorials

Step 1:
Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 1000×300 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a white color. Now select the Rounded Rectangle Tool and above your screen under the options palette choose Fill Pixels, set the radius to 6 px and check anti-aliased. Create a new layer and draw a black rounded rectangle with 398×243 px dimensions.

Step 2:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your black rounded rectangle layer.

Step 3:
In a new layer draw a black rectangle with 378×225 px dimensions right on the center of your black rounded rectangle.

Step 4:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow and Stroke blending options to your black rectangle layer.

Step 5:
Now create the button interface attached on the monitor screen, first create a new layer set and name it ‘interface’. Then in a new layer draw a rounded rectangle with 30×43 px dimensions and #A0A9B0 color shade. Cut half of the rounded rectangle and place the layer design behind your monitor design layers.

Step 6:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option to your rounded rectangle layer from step five.

Step 7:
Next to the small rounded rectangle design add a rectangle with 15×10 px dimensions and #A0A9B0 color shade.

Step 8:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option to your light purple rectangle layer.
