    I can’t help but put it out there that tutorials like this totally undervalue the talent, work, education, and skill that is necessary for designers to create an identity for a business that accurately portrays its needs. While I know that was not the intention of the article, stating that it is easy to do yourself and expensive for a designer does imply it.

    Also on a completely technical level try printing the logo you just created on some large signage and let me know how it looks. Pixelated and crappy is the answer, Logos should almost always be created in a vector format… ie illustrator.

    I could go on forever, however designers cost “a lot” for a ton of reasons, which could not possibly be listed here.

    Zinni, you are a turd. Your average Joe didn’t BUY PhotoShop. Last I checked PhotoShop is for designers. Anyone practicing with these tutorials paid for their PhotoShop so get over it.
