Design a Gaming Header in Photoshop
3-12-08Step 7:
Create a new layer set, name it Tab. In a new layer make a rectangle with 113×16 px dimensions and #003C86 color shade. Position the tab on the third rectangle structure design.

Step 8:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your tab layer.




Step 9:
Create a new layer, on the side of your tab draw a black rectangle with 6×23 px dimensions. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your small black rectangle layer.




Step 10:
Duplicate the small black rectangle and place it on the other end of the the tab.

Step 11:
Select your Horizontal Type Tool and above your screen under the options palette set the font family to Verdana, bold, 10 pt, none and #FFFC00 color shade. In a new text layer add one of your navigation titles.

Step 12:
Add the rest of your navigation links with its own tab design.

Step 13:
Now set the font family to Arial, regular, 12 pt, none and white for color. In a new text layer add your main navigations in this case titles of video game systems.
